SUStars Stampin' Spaces Blog Hop, Feb. 18-19
Welcome, Hoppers! This month, we're sharing our stampin' spaces or our unique ways of storing our stampin' supplies. You should have arrived from Charlotte's blog. If you came here first, you can go through the entire hop starting at the link at the bottom of this post.
I am one of the lucky ones who has a dedicated room for my stamp stuff. My amazing husband built it for me a few years ago. The first picture shows the right side of the room when you enter. You can see at the back that I have a small sink (which is great!). I keep my business supplies in the cabinets, like catalogs and forms. Above the cabinets are cubbies for display pieces.
Jeff wanted to put cabinets like that on the left side as well, but that wasn't going to work for me. I told him that I needed to be able to lay my hands on my stamps and card stock. So he designed this awesome shelving unit! (Please note the clean tables - this doesn't happen often).
If you look closely, you can see some color coding on my stamp sets. My brilliant friend Simmy Ogg gave me this idea. I put a small strip of card stock inside the box, just behind the stamp name. This way, people know where to find stamps and where to put them back. I have red for general all-occasion stamps, green for holidays, pink for flowers, brown for nature (animals, leaves) and orange for word sets. I need to update the colors and mark my newer sets! You can click on the picture to see it a wee bit larger. They are grouped in threes.
In the large drawer on the far left, I have my old punches. This is not all of them. The drawer next to that has my new flat punches. I have more of these, too. This is NOT an ideal storage system, but I can't do anything else with them right now.
Lastly, I have my back wall, which is mostly dedicated to Captain Jack! Yes, that is a life-sized cardboard stand-up. I love it. I have two. LOL
Thanks for stopping by! If you'd like to start at the beginning of this hop, just click here for the full list of this month's bloggers.
If you are a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and would like to join SUStars, we'd love to have you! Just click here and then click on "Join This Group" to get started.
Happy Stampin'
Shari
PS: How about some Blog Candy??? I will randomly pick someone who comments and she will receive a variety pack of punched shapes. You can choose which color family and which punches you'd like me to use.

It's SALE-A-BRATION Time!
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 3 at 7PM
It's my annual Sale-A-Bration Kick-Off event! Come on by to check out the new goodies, see some great samples and do a couple Make-n-Takes using our exclusive Sale-A-Bration products. There will be prizes for anyone who books their own workshop when you RSVP for this event, or books at the event itself. Please RSVP so I'll know how much I need to prep for our projects.
Our two projects are shown below. Apparently I'm feeling a bit side-panel-ish today.
The blue card uses Fresh Vintage, one of our SAB sets this year. It is also our BCB card for this month, so if you like it, you can make more for just $1 each.
The pink card uses Take It to Heart, a set in our current Occasions Mini Catalog. I also used our new Hearts Framelits dies for the Big Shot, also in the Occasions Mini. You can make more of this card, too, if you need some Valentine cards for friends and family. Also $1 each for extras.
Please let me know how many of each you'd like to make so I can prep everything you'll need.
What is Sale-A-Bration?
From now until March 31st, you will get a free Sale-A-Bration item for every $50 you spend on an order! You can order online at http://sharistamps.stampinup. net or contact me directly with your order.
Hostesses get even MORE goodies this year, too! Every hostess that has a $150+ workshop gets a free tote! It's really cute - it's got the flower pattern from the SAB-exclusive Everyday Enchantment Designer Series paper, with detail like our new Adorning Accents dies and embossing folders (tote shown above). When your workshop total is $400, you get ANY one catalog item at half off, the free tote, and a hostess bundle that includes the Fresh Vintage stamp set, Everyday Enchantment DSP, and the Everyday Enchantment ribbon and brad pack! A sample made with these products is shown above. You can see it all on pgs. 6-7 of the SAB mini. You get even more goodies with higher party totals. Plus, you can get more SAB freebies when you order as a customer at your own workshop!
I would love to show these great products to you and your friends and family. Contact me today to schedule a fun girls' night out! You can host at your place or mine.
