SUStars Blog Hop March 2011

Welcome to my stop on the Hop! You should have arrived from Deborah Robb's site. If you just happened along my blog and you'd like to start at the beginning of the Hop, click here.

SUStars is a Yahoo!Group just for Stampin' Up! demonstrators. If you're a demo and you'd like to join in the fun, click here.

Our theme for this hop is Spring or Occasions Mini. Mine fits both! Today's stamped art is another from my Seasonal Frame class series. This is our spring frame. The whole piece is 9x9. The small squares are 1 3/4" square. The frame itself is from IKEA. If you click on the photo, you can see it larger.

I used Springtime Vintage DSP, the Decorative Label Punch and the Vintage Flower Adornments from our Occasions Mini.

Stamps: Pocket Silhouettes and Everyday Flexible Phrases (retired).

Colors: Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze, Rose Red, Crumb Cake, River Rock, Very Vanilla, Always Artichoke

Punches: Curly Label XL, 1 1/4" & 1 3/8" circle punches, 1 3/4" x 7/8" Oval Large, Scallop Trim Border, Two-Step Bird XL (leaves), Jewelry Tag Medium, Decorative Label Punch (Occasions Mini)

Big Shot Embossing Folders: Manhattan Flower, Perfect Polka Dots, Vintage Wallpaper

Accessories: Rose Red Grosgrain (retired), Very Vanilla Grosgrain, Linen Thread, Antique Brass Jumbo Eyelet, Antique Brads, Vintage Flower Adornments (Occasions Mini), Stampin' Dimensionals, Moonlight Smooch Pearlized Accent Ink.

I have a wee bonus project to share. It is from our recently completed Big Shot Card Swap.

BLOG CANDY: A random comment will be chosen by my elite judge (my 7-year-old son) to win this card!

Your next stop on the Hop is Stamp With Jane. I'm sure she'll have something fabulous to share - she's awesome!

Happy Hopping!
Shari

  2. Shari, I love your frame! I would never have thought of doing that, but it absolutely gorgeous. You wouldn't happen to live in the Northwest would you so I could come to a class or two. Your circle card is adorable and would be so much fun to make. TFS
